Apparently not the President of the USA Barrack Obama becomes the youngest president
in the world. Jean-Claude Duvalier as the youngest president recorded in
the world.
Jean-Claude Duvalier was born 3 July 1951 in
Port-au-Prince, in April 1971, he took over the presidency position in
Haiti at the age of 19 years after the death of his father, François
Duvalier. Thus he became the youngest president in the world.
Duvalier held power until 7 February 1986, in response to the protests
during the three months of political and economic oppression by the
government, and because of fear of facing the charges, he fled from
Haiti and settled in France, although he did not officially get asilum.
In France, he was living with luxury - have a villa in the
hills Cannes, two apartments in Paris, a chateau, with a Ferrari car.
But Duvalier lost almost 750 million dollars because he devorce with
his wife, Michelle Duvalier, and is now living with is very simple.
After President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in February 2004,
Duvalier announced the intention to return to Haiti. In 2004 he
declares intention to run as president of Haiti in the 2005 elections
for the National Unity Party.
