Who does not know koi fish? Koi fish is a very popular pet fish . It fans spreading all over the world. Koi fish is known to have a long age. Do you know that record the age of koi fish is 226 years old! Fish is named Hanako, female sex, red color  (higoi), length 77 cm and weight of 9 kg. Hanako was born in 1751 and died on 17 July 1977. Last owner is Dr. Komei Koshihara, Japanese. He said that if the fish has been kept for four generations.
Hanako apparently not the only fish that have longevity. There still have 5 more koi fish that has aged more than 100 years, about 217,170,155, and 141 years old. Amazing!
